We cannot wait to go PUBLIC about our new learning on the night of

GO PUBLIC: Earth and Sky Inquiry Unit

Newsletter November 2nd

November 2, 2012
* For our Earth and Sky Inquiry unit, we have formed interest topic groups for research. Before we get started, we are discussing and recording what it means to COLLABORATE together.
We read a book about how ANIMALS work together for inspiration and watched a video about how a school of Tang Fish meet at a "cleaning station" and work with a sea turtle to clean his shell. WOW! If they can work together, so can we!
Student groups have started to record rules for
their own "Collaboration Stations".
* Report Cards go home on November 9, 2012.
* We will be collecting for a FOOD DRIVE during the month of November.  The class that donates the most will win a pizza party!
* Thank you for all of the families who attended conferences.  It was very nice to hear about your child's learning profile, interests, and strengths.
