- The PASS Program ended on May 21st. Please make arrangements for your students after school now that PASS is over.
- A citizens committee on school attendance areas held their first meeting on May 21, 2015. The committee has representatives from schools throughout the district.
Their charge is
to:
Review elementary and intermediate school grade
configuration and determine if it should be 4K-5th and
6th-8th or 4K-4th and
5th-8th
Establish attendance areas 4K-12
Balance enrollment 4K-12
Review the district’s transfer policy
The committee will meet throughout the summer
and give a report to the School Board in September. Go to the district’s

- Our last PTA meeting of the year will be Wednesday, June 10th at 5:30pm. We thank PTA for all the great things they do for our school and hope that more parents will join!
- West Allis a la Carte is Sunday, June 7th - noon - 6pm. Make sure to stop by - it's a great family activity.
- Mark your Calendars! The 5th grade Recognition Ceremony will be Wednesday, June 10 at 9:30am at Longfellow. The 4K Recognition Ceremony (divided into 2 parts) will be Wednesday, June 10 in the afternoon at the Recreation 4K Center. We look forward to celebrating with all our 5th graders and 4K students as they move on to new and exciting things.
- Students will again participate in the Scholastic Summer Reading Program! They will also have an opportunity to do online "book clubs" with Kidblog. In the upcoming weeks, Ms. Hennings will be doing a lesson in each classroom about how to use these resources over the summer. We encourage our students to read, read, read during the summer months...our final RIF and Books at the Beach distribution will allow all students to have new books to read at home over the summer.
- The last day of school is Friday, June 12th. Students have a full day of school that day. Report cards will come home with students at the end of the day.
