Logging
into Student School Email from Home

iPad Instructions:

Choose Mail,
Contacts, Calendars from the list on the left side
●
Under Accounts,
choose Add Account
●
Choose Google
●
Put in the required information
○
name of student, just first name will do
○
email address that ends in @wawmsd.org
○
password
○
description, such as “My School Email”
●
Choose Next
●
At this point it should verify, putting check marks
next to all of the required information
●
You only need to have Mail turned on
●
Choose Save
●
After it finishes adding the account, go to the Mail app and open your school email!

Sign in when prompted for your

- Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week! Thank you to Longfellow and the Longfellow PTA for helping us celebrate!
- 4TH quarter progress reports came home on May 9th.
- Our final parent/teacher conference night is Monday, May 12 from 4:30-8:00pm. We will also have a BOGO Book Fair going on during this time...please stop by.
- The Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge has started! Last week in Friday Folders, students received an information packet along with their user name/password to log in. Students may choose to track their reading minutes by using this online program OR by using the paper form that was included in the packet. EVERY student who completes this challenge will receive a Target/Wal-Mart gift card when they return to school in Fall 2014. Please encourage your child to read, read, read over the summer!
- Just a reminder that preliminary scheduling for 2014-2015 has begun.
Parents who need more information or want to opt OUT of Next Generation
Learning (NxGLC) for grades 1-2-3 next year should return their purple 1/2 sheet
(sent home about 2 months ago). If you have questions about NxGLC, please don't
hesitate to contact Jessica Moe at 414-604-4300
.
- Please return our Longfellow Climate Surveys! You can tear them out of our newsletter and send back to school with your student. We appreciate your input.
- The PTA meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 14 has been RESCHEDULED to Wednesday, May 21. Please mark your calendars.
