- The WAWM annual Youth Art Month celebration is this Sunday, March 1st from 1-4pm.
Hello WAWM families,
Please join us for the Youth
Art Month celebration this Sunday, March 1st from 1:00-4:00 at the
Administration Building located at 1205 South 70th street. This year there will
be musical performances, our student art show and many interactive activities
for families to participate in such as creating a community wall hanging made
from CD’s, a snow fence weaving, necklace making, a drum circle and a beautiful
flower pot raffle. All money raised from the raffle will go to the District’s
Education Foundation to support the Arts in our schools.
Come join us
for a fun filled family event this Sunday at 1:00! We look forward to seeing
you!
- FRIDAY February 27, 2015.
- DOJO Incentive Day. We will be having a Mardi Gras celebration in the gym – making masks and having a short parade. Students need 80% or higher positive DOJO points to earn this incentive.
- RED Day to promote Heart Health as a part of Jump Rope for Heart. Students and staff are encouraged to wear red.
- PTA Snowball Dance – 6-8pm. Please considering coming out
to join the fun.
