Our personal PBIS goals were focusing on expectations and behaviors in the cafeteria. We are making GREAT progress with these goals. Our class won our 2nd lunchroom award at the PBIS assembly this past week!

October Newsletter
- Picture Re-Take Day for both Longfellow and the Recreation 4K Center will be TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2014 first thing in the morning.
- Parent/Teachers conferences will be Wednesday, October 22, 2014. A letter was sent home last Friday. Please make sure to return the conference selection form. A confirmation will be sent home once your conference has been scheduled.
- There is a Longfellow PTA meeting on Wednesday, October 8, 5:30pm.
- Reminder to parents about Pokemon cards - these items can be out at RECESS ONLY. Teachers will be asked to take them away if they are brought out during class or distract learning in any way. Also, we will not spend time trying to recover lost or stolen cards, or solve "trade" disagreement. Students who choose to bring cards will have to follow these guidelines.
- Reminder to families that the West Allis Meet and Treat is October 26, 1-3pm.

- Our Longfellow Semester 1 PASS Program is underway. Remember that the
program runs Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday from 3:45-4:30pm for those students who
qualify. There will be NO PASS PROGRAM on the following dates:
Wednesday, October 22, 2014 (parent/teacher conferences) and Tuesday, November
25, 2014 (day prior to Thanksgiving Break).
- LAST DAY OF SEMESTER 1 PASS Program is Thursday, January 15th, 2015
- There will be NO PASS Program on January 20-21-22, 2015.
- The Semester 2 PASS program will begin on Tuesday, January 27th, 2015. You will receive a letter indicating whether your child will continue in the PASS Program for Semester 2.
During a "Group Share" time, students participate, listen, make comments, and ask questions about our learning. It is a time to be reflective and think about how our choices impact our daily learning. Here are some pictures from a recent MATH GROUP SHARE.
