Inquiry: Sea Otters
Our class has started reading the Scholastic News Story
"Into The Kelp" and learning important
information and fun fact details about
this adorable animal. We plan to write down our new learning and then DETERMINE what is the most important information.
So far, we have learned:
1. Sea otters use a rock as a tool to help
them open up clams and crab shells.
2. They wrap themselves in a plant called
kelp when they are sleeping. Kelp keeps them safe.
3. They eat prickly sea urchins.
(which helps their kelp forest habitat)
