*  Social Studies Inquiry:  After spring break, we will continue
 a new inquiry about researching special individuals through
 BIOGRAPHIES.  During art class, we have begun to do some
 research about a talented young painter from China named, Wang Yani.

Newsletter March

* Since conferences were canceled due to weather last week 3-5-13, they have been rescheduled for Tuesday March 12, 2013.  Reminder notes were sent home on 3-7-13.  Please contact me if you have any questions.  

* Inquiry: Our class has been researching, inferring, and thinking about how ALBINO ANIMALS survive and adapt in their habitats.  
We are excited to "go public" with our wonderful nonfiction book, "White Tails and Other White Tales", a story about regular animals and albino animals.
Then we will enter this book in the nationwide Kids Are Authors book contest.

* At our Longfellow all school assembly on Wednesday, March 27, we will be having Leukemia Lymphoma Society do a kick off for Pennies for Patients.

Our Longfellow Quiz Bowl team will compete this Saturday March 9, 1:15-1:45pm, Ad Building. Wish them luck!
